Reggie McLendon was named Human Resources vice president for Boeing International in August 2016. He reports jointly to Marc Allen, president of Boeing International, and Heidi Capozzi, senior vice president, Human Resources and Administration for The Boeing Company.
Reggie is responsible for leading the function that provides human resources services and support for Boeing International. He also works with organizations across the company to improve global delivery of human resources support to employees and Boeing entities operating outside the United States.
Reggie joined Boeing in October 2013 and previously served as the director of Boeing’s Second Century HR initiative, Boeing’s effort to modernize, streamline and align HR processes and systems into a simple and effective enterprise business model. In this role, he partnered with internal stakeholders across the company to assess, transform and ute company-wide standardized HR strategies and tactics.
Reggie joined Boeing after spending seven years with Microsoft, where he held leadership roles in multiple European sites and in the United States. Across his multiple Microsoft positions, he provided strategic HR leadership to two major North America sales organizations and integrated the Europe-based Skype acquisition into Microsoft. McLendon’s work before Microsoft included HR leadership roles with a St. Louis-based company, as well as 22 years of service with the United States Air Force involving large scale human resource management.
Reggie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer information systems and a Master of Science degree in human resource management from Troy State University.
