She received a Ph.D. at the Ohio State University, 1994. Her research interests are career development, career guidance program development, career teachers’ competency development and so on.
Dr. Ji-Yeon Lee is a Senior Research Fellow at the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training(KRIVET) since 1997. She serves as the vice president of Korea Career Education Association and editor of The Journal of Career Education from 2012 to March 2016. She is the member of University Structure Reform Committee of Ministry of Education. Previously, she was the director of Career Development Center at KRIVET from 2012 to 2015. She was a member of Presidential Consultative Body, Lifelong Career Education Section in the Ministry of Education from 2013 to 2015.
Her recent research projects are ’Career Information Handbook publication for Students in Special-Education’, ‘Occupational Indicators’, ‘Comprehensive School Career Counselling & Guidance’, ‘Online Career Counseling Program Management’, ‘International Career Education Form’ and many others.
