Doowon Cha received his Master’s and Ph.D. degree at Ajou University majoring in ergonomics and finished the Executive MBA Technology Management course at KAIST Graduate School of Management. He was a visiting researcher at Japan Automobile Research Institute, director of the Human Interface Team at Hyundai MOBIS Research Center, a member of the Presidential Advisory Council on Science & Technology, an expert member of Seoul Future Education Preparation Council, and the Chairman of the New Service Subcommittee under the New Industry Investment Committee.
He has written many papers and reports, and co-authored 《Discovering Hidden Creativity》(2013), 《The Age of Hyper Connectivity-The Future of Sharing Economy and Internet of Things》(2015), 《KISTEP Future Korea Report》(2015), and 《Job Killer-The Future of Jobs Changing by Robot and AI》(2016), 《The Fourth Industrial Revolution-The Age of Bing Band Disruption》 and 《The Fourth Industrial Revolution-Korea Futurenomics》(2017).
His interesting areas include future technology, education and talents including STS(Science, Technology and Society). Currently, he is serving as a researcher in Korea Institute of Science and Technology Evaluation and Planning.
