Hosung Chang is currently president of Dankook University, Korea. He received his PhD in engineering from Oregon State University, USA in 1993. Between 1994-2000 he served as a professor of electronic engineering at Hanyang University, Korea. Before he was appointed the 15th president of Dankook University in 2008, he served as a professor, director and vice president at Dankook University. He served as vice president of Asian University Sports Federation from 2010 to 2016, and has been serving as president of Korea University Sport Federation since 2012. In April 2017, he was appointed the 23rd president of Korean Council for University Education, the representative association of a four-year universities in Korea that contributes to the improvement of Korean universities’ global competitiveness.
