Yoonsun Lee holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Washington, U.S.A and worked as Director of Assessment for Washington State’s Department of Education for 5 years. In 2008, she started working as a professor for the Department of Educational Psychology at Seoul Women’s University, Korea. She has taught undergraduate and graduate students educational measurement and evaluation. In addition, she has served as a Director of the university’s Institute for Character Education and has conducted research studies and practices in character education in the last five years. Her professional experiences and research interests in character education include enhancing teachers’ competencies in character education through effective professional development programs, developing character education programs, evaluating the effectiveness of character education, and consulting for needs analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of character education for K-12 settings, universities, and corporations.
