Dr. Hye-Jung Lee has worked as an education expert for decades, practically as Director of e-Learning Support at Seoul National University, and scholarly as a research professor of Center for Teaching and Learning at Seoul National University in Korea, a visiting scholar at University of Michigan in the USA, and a specially appointed associate professor at Hokkaido University in Japan. She is also widely known as the book author of [Who gets an A+ at Seoul National University?] and [Changing Korea by Education Innovation: Exams in Korea] which received media spotlight recent years. After she finished her Ph.D. in Educational Technology at Seoul National University, she visited more than 25 top research universities in the world officially as a representative of SNU delegation and interviewed senior level administrators (Vice president, Provost, or Director) in charge of quality assurance of the institutional education and technology-enhanced learning. After conducting collaborative research on learning differences between the East and the West at University of Michigan, she is currently directing Institute for Education and Innovation in Korea. Various papers and columns on quality education system were published and numbers of keynotes and invited speeches were delivered throughout the world.
