Dr. Minhee Seo is an Associate Research Fellow at Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE). She is currently involved in a couple of projects related to Student Assessment both at school level and national level. Her recent research focuses on measurement issues such as cultural validity and dimensionality.
Dr. Seo received her MS in Statistics and Ph.D in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She did her internship at Educational Testing Services (ETS) in 2007.
She was the Director of Student Assessment and Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. She was responsible for the development and implementation of learning assessment plans and for the validation of student learning outcomes. Prior to this position, she taught graduate level courses in the Department of Educational Research Methodology at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) as an Assistant Professor for 3 years. She also served as a project evaluator at UNCG titled “UNC/Guilford Public Schools Mathematics Program”.
